The Rail Authority, as a national safety authority within the meaning of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2018/761 of 16 February 2018 establishing common safety methods for supervision by national safety authorities after the issue of a single safety certificate or a safety authorisation pursuant to Directive (EU) 2016/798 of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Commission Regulation (EU) No 1077/2012 (hereinafter referred to as "Regulation 2018/761"), carries out state supervision activities within the meaning of Annex I, point 2(c) of Regulation 2018/761 in accordance with Act 255/2012 Coll, the Inspection Act (Inspection Code) as amended and Regulation 2018/761.
The Rail Authority prepared a Plan of inspection activities for the year 2024 in the area of safety certification and the safety system.
The data given in the plan are indicative and may change and be supplemented during the semester. Entities will be given notice of a state supervision visit by the Rail Authority well in advance in accordance with Act 255/2012 Coll., the Inspection Act (Inspection Code) as amended.
